Cane Run Road Car Accident Leaves One Dead and Others Injured

Matthew B. Troutman Oct. 10, 2022

A hit and run accident on Can Run Road in Louisville, Jefferson County, Ky occurred around 8 pm on October 9, 2022. The hit and run vehicle crossed the centerline and crashed into a vehicle with a driver and two passengers. One of the passengers died in the accident and the other passenger and the driver were taken to U of L Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the hit and run vehicle fled the scene on foot.

These circumstances will require the services of an experienced attorney to investigate and locate all available insurance and to maximize all benefits available to the victims and their families. Since the hit and driver fled the scene on foot it is unlikely that his vehicle will have insurance. It will be important for the victims to have uninsured motorist insurance to be able to make a claim for their injuries and property damage.
