A teenager operating a Ford Mustang without lights at night was struck in the side by another vehicle attempting a left-hand turn. The accident occurred on December 21, 2022 in Owensboro, Kentucky. The impact of the accident caused the Ford Mustang to go down an embankment resulting in the death of the teenager.

On December 15, 2022, at approximately 7:30 pm an auto accident occurred when a tractor-trailer crossed the center line on Hal Rodgers Parkway in Clay County Kentucky and struck a pickup truck occupied by William Collins of Emmalena and Tanner Reisig of Paint Lick, Kentucky.

At about 8:00 pm on December 4, 2022, there was an unusual accident at the 1600 block of Russell Cave Road in Lexington Kentucky- a car left the roadway and struck a house with 10 people inside and the driver managed to flee the scene before police arrived and they are still searching for the driver.

In the morning of December 6, 2022, multiple crashes were reported in Laurel County Kentucky that caused northbound I-75 to be closed for about an hour. At this time, there is no indication of how the accident happened or whether anyone was injured as a result.
