On April 25, 2018, John Crawford was driving on Interstate 71 in Henry County, Kentucky and he saw two stray dogs on the side of the interstate. He called 911 and a Kentucky State Trooper came to the scene and both men attempted to corral the dogs. They were walking along the shoulder of a bridge with the dogs when there was an accident between two tractor trailers.

Red-light Car Accident Kills One in Campbellsville Kentucky

On February 9, 2023, Steve Hovious, a 58 year-old man out of Campbellsville, ran a red light at the intersection of US 68 and Main Street in Campbellsville. Mr. Hovious was driving a 2000 Honda Accord and ran into a Ford Explorer operated by Courtney Gumm of Nancy, Kentucky. Mr. Hovious died from his injuries at Taylor Regional Hospital and Ms. Gumm suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

On February 7, 2023, a serious single-car accident occurred on Royster Road in Lexington, Fayette County, Kentucky. The area where the accident occurred is a narrow country road with large trees near the edge of the roadway. 3 Die in Head-on Collision in Glasgow, Kentucky

On January 13, 2023, at approximately 12:30 pm, an auto accident occurred when 74-year-old Robert E. Purcell, from Louisville, crossed the centerline on Happy Valley Road in Glasgow, Kentucky and struck a pick-up truck occupied by Matthew Webb and Matthew Shrock. Webb and Purcell died at the scene and Shrock died while being transported to a Nashville Hospital.
